Working with someone who can remain unbiased to support you with issues that are impacting your life is important as we navigate life. I will encourage you to challenge yourself and go through the rough parts, not merely go around them. Together, we will do the work.
Knowing that we need help can be difficult and asking for help can be even more difficult. Whether we meet in person or virtually, you will feel comfortable to be able to unpack and process the things that are challenging and may even be holding you back from living the life you want to live. Together, we will work together and create a plan that is tailored for you, not a cookie cutter, one size fits all, type of approach.
I do believe laughter is an important part of life and think therapy provides opportunities for reflection, insight, growth and yes…some laughter. My therapeutic approach is both straight-forward and reflective.
I provide telehealth and in-person sessions. My physical office is located at 1135 Kildaire Farm Rd, Ste 200 in Cary, North Carolina. My office is easily accessible for individuals that live in Raleigh, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina. I currently offer morning, afternoon, and evening appointments. I also offer weekend appointments.
Regardless of who you are considering working with, I encourage you to schedule a consultation with the therapist to determine if the therapist is a good fit for you and your needs. I offer a 20-minute (free) consultation to determine if we are a good fit for each other.

I am currently an EAP provider with Lyra Health.
I do not bill insurance for couple’s therapy or bill for a diagnosis.
For those that do not have insurance, you are entitled to receive a good faith estimate of what the charges could be for services provided to you. The good faith estimate shows the cost of items and services tht are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service. This estimate is not a contact and does not obligate you to obtain any service from the provider. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created and does not include any unknown or unexpected costs. You have the right to initiate a dispute resolution process if the actual amount charged to you substantially exceeds the estimated charges stated. 1-800-985-3059 or www.cms.gov

I earned my Master of Social Work, Master of Education and Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina State University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Outside of formal education, I have received training in a variety of therapeutic models with primary areas of focus in the following: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for symptoms of PTSD and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I have a strong interest in attachment-based therapy modalities and how our (early) relationships impact our present relationships.
I have experience working with a variety of individuals and have been fortunate to have experience working in the court system, education system, law enforcement and the military. My favorite job outside of being a therapist has been, as a young child, working in a food truck both at auction sales and during the local, county fair.
