• Adults and couples I work with are interested in the following:

Setting strong personal boundaries without guilt or shame

    Overcoming negative thinking patterns

Improving one’s ability to address challenging situations

Processing a loss (separation, divorce, and death)

Creating a life that honors and respects the process of moving forward

Getting out of feeling stuck and living intentionally

Enhancing personal relationships through increased connection

Coping and effectively supporting a loved one with a mental health diagnosis

  • Working with someone who can remain unbiased to support you with issues that are impacting your life is helpful. I am a therapist that is going to encourage you to challenge yourself and go through the rough parts, not merely go around them. Together, we will do the work.

Knowing that we need help can be hard and asking for help can be even harder. I can assure you that whether we meet in person or virtually, you will feel comfortable to be able to unpack and process the things that are challenging and may even be holding you back from living the life you want to live. Together, we will work together and create a plan that is tailored for you, not a cookie cutter, one size fits all, type of approach.

I do believe laughter is an important part of life and think therapy provides opportunities for reflection, insight, growth and yes…some laughter. My therapeutic approach is both straight-forward and reflective. I also understand that sometimes things are hard and having someone to process the hard things with, without judgment, is the best thing that you can do for yourself.

I provide telehealth and in-person sessions. My physical office is located at 1135 Kildaire Farm Rd, Ste 200 in Cary, North Carolina. My office is easily accessible for individuals that live in Raleigh, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina. I currently offer morning, afternoon, and evening appointments. I also offer weekend appointments.

Regardless of who you are considering working with, I encourage you to schedule a consultation with the therapist to determine if the therapist is a good fit for you and your needs. I offer a 20-minute (free) consultation to determine if we are a good fit for each other.

  • I am in network with Aetna, most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans (*Not the CPP), Cigna, Optum, Oscar, and United Healthcare/UHC. I am also an approved EAP provider with Lyra Health.

For out of network reimbursement, I can provide you with a superbill reflecting services provided if you prefer to file the claims yourself.

If you prefer to not utilize your insurance benefits, I provide a sliding-fee scale.

I do not bill insurance for couple’s counseling.

    Clinical Assessment $200

    55-minute Session $150

    45-minute Session $125

  • I earned my Master of Social Work, Master of Education and Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina State University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Outside of formal education, I have received training in a variety of therapeutic models with primary areas of focus in the following: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for symptoms of PTSD and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I have a strong interest in attachment-based therapy modalities and how our (early) relationships impact our present relationships.

I have experience working with a variety of individuals and have been fortunate to have experience working in the court system, education system, law enforcement and the military. My favorite job outside of being a therapist has been, as a young child, working in a food truck both at auction sales and during the local, county fair.
